Warm apple juice with ginger and cinnamon

Satisfying and refreshing spiced apple punch.
Ingredients:
  • 2L bottled apple juice
  • Strips of lemon rind from 1 lemon
  • 2cm piece ginger, finely sliced
  • 8 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 green apple, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a jug, combine apple juice, lemon rind, ginger, and 2 cinnamon sticks. Let it infuse for 1 hour. Pour the mixture into a saucepan, warm it gently, and strain into heatproof glasses. Add a cinnamon stick and an apple slice into each glass. Serve the warm beverage.
