Sugar-free apple pie with natural sweetness from apples, zesty lemon juice, and warm cinnamon. Topped with butter for richness, bakes golden brown in just 45 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 9 apples - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Combine flour, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Mix in apples and lemon juice until thoroughly coated. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Add the apples to the pie plate lined with pastry, then generously dot with butter. Top with another layer of pastry, sealing and creating steam vents for a beautiful pie.
  • Bake until the crust is a beautiful golden brown in a preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
