Try this irresistible homemade crab dip featuring chive-onion cheese spread, perfect with crispy crostini.
Ingredients:
  • 2 containers (8 oz each) chives-and-onion cream cheese spread
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Creole mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1 lb fresh lump crabmeat
  • Chopped fresh chives, if desired
  • Crostini or pita chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously spray a 9-inch glass pie plate or shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine cream cheese spread, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, and red pepper in a bowl. Gently fold in the crabmeat, then spread the mixture evenly in a pie plate.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until golden and bubbling. Sprinkle with fresh chives before serving alongside crunchy crostini.
