Warm Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding Cake

Impress with easy slow cooker chocolate peanut butter pudding cake.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
Instructions:
  • Grease the interior of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl and whisk. In a separate bowl, blend peanut butter, sour cream, melted butter, almond extract, and 2 tablespoons boiling water until smooth. Mix in flour mixture to create a thick batter. Transfer batter to a prepared slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, combine white sugar, cocoa powder, and 2 cups of boiling water until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the batter in the slow cooker.
  • Cook on High until the cake pulls away from the sides and feels firm on top, approximately 1 1/2 hours. Let it cool for 15 minutes before serving and then drizzle with chocolate syrup.
