Wasabi Mayo Salmon

Spicy wasabi salmon fillet with crispy potato chip topping, grilled, smoked with apple chips, or oven-roasted.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) salmon fillet
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon wasabi powder
  • 1 (8 ounce) bag Yukon gold potato chips, crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and prepare a rimmed baking sheet by lining it elegantly with parchment paper.
  • Lay the salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Combine the mayonnaise and wasabi powder in a small bowl. Spread the mixture evenly over the salmon, then sprinkle crushed chips on top and press down gently.
  • Cook the fish in the preheated oven until it easily flakes with a fork, approximately 20 minutes.
