Indulge in succulent chicken breasts stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese, drizzled with creamy soup sauce and baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded to 1/4 inch thickness
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices cooked ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Set out the milk and breadcrumbs in distinct shallow bowls. Season the chicken with a dash of salt and pepper. Top each piece of chicken with a ham slice and cheese slice, then roll them up and secure with toothpicks. Dip each chicken roll first into milk, then into breadcrumbs before cooking.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Brown rolled chicken on all sides until golden. Transfer the chicken to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine the soup and cream in a small saucepan over medium heat, season with salt and pepper to taste, then pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear, about 15 minutes.
