Indulgent whipped brie dip with honey, bacon, and thyme for picnics or entertaining. Whipped brie is light and fluffy at room temperature, perfect with crispy homemade croutons or store-bought crackers.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x By Laurent White Sourdough Rolls
  • 80g streaky bacon rashers, finely chopped
  • 3 x 200g Triple Cream Brie
  • Fresh thyme leaves, to sprinkle
  • Coles Queensland Macadamia Honey, to drizzle
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C (160C fan forced) and line two baking trays with parchment paper. Slice the rolls into 1cm thick pieces and arrange them on the trays. Give them a quick spray of olive oil and bake until they're beautifully golden and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Cook the bacon in a frying pan over medium heat until golden and crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the rind from the brie and discard. Chop the brie, then use electric beaters to whip the brie for 8-10 minutes until it becomes pale and fluffy.
  • Spread the whipped brie elegantly on a serving plate, sprinkle with bacon and thyme, drizzle with honey, and serve with croutons.
