White Almond Fondue

Whip up a quick and delicious almond fondue in just 15 minutes with 4 simple ingredients. Perfect for dipping cake and fresh fruits!
Ingredients:
  • Banana slices*
  • Dried apricots
  • Grapes
  • Kiwifruit slices
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Mandarin orange segments
  • 12 ounces vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark)
  • 1/3 cup half-and-half
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons almond-flavored liqueur or 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Apple wedges*
  • Angel food cake cubes
Instructions:
  • In a heavy 3-quart saucepan, gently heat the candy coating and half-and-half together, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in the liqueur and cinnamon.
  • Transfer the mixture into a fondue pot or chafing dish and keep it warm over a low flame. When ready to serve, skewer dippers with fondue forks and dip them into the fondue. If the fondue thickens too much, simply stir in a small amount of half-and-half.
