Elevate classic chocolate chip cookies with white chocolate chips, cranberries, and almond essence for a delightful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract, if desired
  • 1 3/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white vanilla baking chips (6 oz)
  • 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, almond extract, and egg until well combined. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in baking chips and cranberries.
  • Scoop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a cookie sheet without greasing, keeping them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 12 to 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
