Indulge in rich chocolate custard drizzled over warm steamed pudding.
Ingredients:
  • 257.50 gm milk
  • 252.50 gm thickened cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 10.00 gm cornflour
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 150g white chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, gently warm the milk and cream, stirring occasionally for 3 to 4 minutes until just steaming but not boiling.
  • In a heatproof bowl, combine egg yolks, cornflour, and sugar, whisk well. Gradually pour in hot milk mixture while whisking. Return the mixture to the pan, add chocolate, and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until the custard thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Transfer the custard to a heatproof jug and serve.
