White chocolate Christmas crack with condensed coconut milk, topped with pistachios and glacé cherries - a festive edible gift that can be prepped in advance.
Ingredients:
  • 9 Salada Original crackers
  • 320g can sweetened condensed coconut milk
  • 60ml (¼ cup) golden syrup
  • 40g salted butter
  • 180g block white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • Red glacé cherries, to decorate
  • Toasted pistachio kernels, to decorate
  • Silver cachous, to decorate
Instructions:
  • Prepare a large baking tray by greasing it and lining it with baking paper. Then, evenly layer crackers to cover the base of the tray.
  • In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, golden syrup, and butter. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, for 10-12 minutes until mixture turns golden and thick. Remove from heat and stir for an additional 1-2 minutes to slightly cool. Pour over crackers, spread to edges of the pan and let it cool completely.
  • Combine the chocolate and vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on High for 1-1½ minutes. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes until melted, then stir until smooth. Drizzle over crackers.
  • Sprinkle cherries, pistachios, and cachous generously. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour or until firm.
  • Serve by elegantly breaking the dish into delectable, bite-sized pieces.
