White hot chocolate with turmeric recipe

Elevate your hot chocolate with turmeric-infused milk in chocolate moulds.
Ingredients:
  • 180g block white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • Large pinch ground ginger
  • 1.5 litres milk
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 6 cinnamon sticks, to serve
Instructions:
  • Grease 12 holes of a 21-hole (1 1/2-teaspoon-capacity) silicone ice-cube tray. Place chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) power for 1-2 minutes, stirring every minute with a metal spoon until melted and smooth. Add cardamom and ginger, mix well. Spoon chocolate mixture into prepared holes. Chill for 1 hour until set.
  • In a saucepan, gently heat milk with turmeric until it simmers. Remove from heat.
  • 1. Warm 6 1-cup-capacity glasses. 2. Unmold chocolates from ice-cube tray. 3. Drop 1 cinnamon stick into each glass. 4. Fill glasses with hot milk mixture. 5. Add 2 chocolates to each glass. 6. Stir until melted. 7. Serve promptly.
