Moist honey loaf with nuts and a hint of vanilla for fruity richness.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1.75 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 cup hot water
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together oil and honey until smooth. Mix in eggs until well combined. Add bananas and vanilla, then fold in flour and salt. Dissolve baking soda in hot water, then gently mix into the batter. Fold in chopped nuts and spread the batter into the pan. Enjoy baking!
  • Bake the loaf for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool on a wire rack for half an hour before slicing.
