Wholesome and delicious waffles, perfect for breakfast every day!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups fat-free (skim) milk
  • 1/4 cup fat-free egg product or 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Powdered sugar, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat nonstick waffle maker. Combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, oats, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  • Combine milk, egg product, and oil in a small bowl until smooth. Pour the mixture into the flour all at once, and stir until large lumps are gone.
  • Pour batter onto the sizzling waffle maker until golden brown and steaming subsides. Dust with powdered sugar.
