Add this delicious side dish to your festive feast for a stress-free and flavorful Christmas everyone will love.
Ingredients:
  • 200.00 gm white long-grain rice
  • 100g packet wild rice
  • 2 celery stalks, trimmed, sliced
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 125.00 ml pecan nuts, roughly chopped
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh chives
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 20.00 ml white wine vinegar
  • 20.00 ml plain yoghurt
Instructions:
  • Prepare each type of rice following the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water.
  • Combine rices, celery, onion, pecans, and chives in a bowl, and mix well.
  • Combine lemon juice, oil, vinegar, yogurt, and sugar in a screw-top jar. Add salt and pepper for seasoning. Secure the lid tightly and shake well to blend everything together.
  • Combine the lemon juice mixture with the rice mixture and toss together before serving.
