Wild Rice Cheese Soup

Try this cheesy soup with ground beef or venison instead of Italian sausage for a delicious twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup uncooked wild rice
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 pound processed cheese, cubed
Instructions:
  • Fry Italian sausage and onions in a skillet until sausage is cooked through. Drain and set aside. Cook wild rice in 2 cups of water until tender in a separate saucepan; set aside.
  • Combine in a stockpot: cooked sausage, onions, rice, potato and chicken soups, milk, and evaporated milk. Warm over low heat. Stir in processed cheese and melt, stirring occasionally.
