Bratwurst simmered in beer, onions, and ketchup then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 8 bratwurst
  • 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans or bottles beer
  • 1 onion, sliced
Instructions:
  • Add bratwurst, beer, onion, and ketchup to a slow cooker. Cover everything with water. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours.
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by preheating it to high heat and lightly oiling the grate.
  • Grill the bratwurst on a preheated grill until nicely browned, approximately 5 minutes.
