Japanese Chicken Stir Fry with Soba Noodles: Flavorful chicken in soy sauce, chili paste, garlic tossed with buckwheat noodles, carrot, cabbage, and onion.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons chile paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced lengthwise into eighths
  • 0.5 medium head cabbage, coarsely chopped
  • 2 carrots, coarsely chopped
  • 8 ounces soba noodles, cooked and drained
Instructions:
  • Heat up a blend of sesame oil, canola oil, and chili paste in a large skillet for 30 seconds. Next, stir in garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Add chicken, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, and cook until chicken is no longer pink, approximately 5 minutes. Take the mixture out of the pan, set it aside, and keep it warm.
  • Combine onion, cabbage, and carrots in the pan. Stir-fry until cabbage wilts slightly, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add remaining soy sauce, cooked noodles, and chicken mixture to the pan. Mix well. Serve and enjoy!
