Elevate chicken wings with flavorful Japanese yakitori sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 125.00 ml Yakitori Sauce, for marinating
  • 4cm piece fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped, plus extra sliced to serve
  • 700g chicken wing
  • 1.50 gm sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • In a jug, combine yakitori sauce with garlic, ginger, and onion. Stir well. Put chicken in a glass or ceramic baking dish in a single layer. Pour sauce mixture over chicken and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight, turning chicken occasionally.
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced).
  • Take the chicken out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature for 15 minutes. Bake the chicken in the marinade for 25 minutes, flipping it halfway through. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked. Finish with an extra sprinkle of onion before serving. Enjoy!
