Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups grated zucchini
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a cozy 325 degrees F (165 degrees C), then generously grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix milk and vinegar in a large bowl and allow it to sour for about 5 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder.
  • Combine sugar, butter, oil, eggs, and vanilla with soured milk; beat until mixed. Mix in the flour mixture until just combined, then gently fold in the zucchini. Pour the batter into the baking dish and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
