Tangy sweet cranberry salad with pineapple, apples, and walnuts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (6 ounce) package cherry-flavored gelatin (such as Jell-O®)
  • 1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 apple - peeled, cored, and diced, or more to taste
  • 0.75 cup chopped walnuts, or to taste
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
Instructions:
  • Combine cherry gelatin with boiling water in a bowl, stirring until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
  • Melt cranberry sauce in a saucepan over medium heat, then stir it into the gelatin mixture.
  • Combine the apples and walnuts with the cranberry sauce mixture, then stir in the pineapple with its juice until well mixed. Chill in the refrigerator until set, ideally for 8 hours or overnight.
