Quick and easy air fryer blueberry hand pies ready in under 30 minutes with just 4 ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 0.5 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling
  • butter-flavored cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sugar for sprinkling
Instructions:
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out each pie dough circle to 1/8-inch thickness. Use a 3 1/2-inch round cookie cutter to cut out 16 circles (8 from each dough round). No cookie cutter? Use a large cup or wide-mouth jar to cut out the circles.
  • Dampen the perimeter of the circle with water, then spoon 2 tablespoons of blueberry pie filling into the center, ensuring the edges remain uncovered.
  • Top the filling with another dough circle and press the edges of the two dough rounds together to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for extra security. Create a small slit on the top of the crust with a sharp knife. Repeat with the remaining dough circles to make a total of 8 round pies.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat the basket with cooking spray. Arrange the pies in a single layer in the basket (you may need to do this in batches), then spritz the tops with more cooking spray and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  • Air fry until beautifully golden and crispy, approximately 9 minutes.
