Delicious calzones with simple two-ingredient dough, air fryer perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole-milk plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup pizza sauce, or as needed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 16 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
  • nonstick cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Mix the flour and yogurt until a soft dough forms.
  • On a floured surface, roll the dough into a large circle about 1/4 to 1/8 inch thick. Use a cereal bowl (or any small bowl), dusted with flour on the rim, to cut out 4 circles by pressing down into the dough.
  • On each pizza circle, generously spread pizza sauce just shy of the edge. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and place 4 slices of pepperoni on top.
  • Fold the circle in half to create a half circle shape. Press the edges firmly to seal and use a fork to crimp all around the edges of each half circle.
  • Coat each calzone with cooking spray and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease the basket. Place calzones in the basket.
  • Air-fry calzones for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown, for 4 to 5 minutes in total. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Inspect the calzones for golden color and crispness, air-fry for additional time if needed. Let them cool slightly before serving.
