Ingredients:
  • 300g pork mince
  • 110g jar caramelised onion relish
  • 25g (1/2 cup) panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 40g (1/2 cup) grated cheddar cheese
  • 40.00 ml coarsely chopped flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, partially thawed
  • Extra 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 1.50 gm sesame seeds
  • Tomato sauce, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine pork, relish, breadcrumbs, egg, cheese, and parsley in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly using your hands until evenly combined and seasoned.
  • Lay half of the pork mixture in the center of a pastry sheet. Cut off and remove the top two corners of the pastry sheet. Slice the pastry diagonally into 2cm wide strips on both sides of the pork mixture. Fold the short ends over the pork. Begin by folding one strip of pastry over the pork, then another strip from the opposite side, slightly overlapping. Continue alternating strips until the pork is completely wrapped. Brush with half of the extra egg and sprinkle with half of the sesame seeds.
  • Air fry at 180C for 15-20 minutes until pastry is golden and pork is fully cooked. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve sausage rolls with sauce.
