Crispy ground chicken balls stuffed with herbed butter, perfect for game day or any party.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 (19.1 ounce) package ground chicken breast
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Combine butter, fresh parsley, and minced garlic in a bowl and mix until fully incorporated. Portion the mixture into 12 equal parts on a baking sheet. Freeze until firm for about 20 minutes.
  • Form 12 balls with the ground chicken. Make an indentation in the center of each ball. Add a piece of frozen herbed butter in each indentation, then wrap the meat around the butter until completely covered. Repeat with the rest of the balls.
  • First, transfer the beaten eggs to a bowl. Then, mix together panko, paprika, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  • Coat each ground chicken ball in beaten eggs and seasoned bread crumbs twice. Repeat with the remaining balls. Arrange on a baking sheet and freeze for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), then place half of the balls in the air fryer basket and coat with nonstick cooking spray.
  • After cooking the chicken balls for 5 minutes, gently flip them over using tongs and give them another light spray of nonstick cooking spray. Continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes. Repeat the process with the rest of the chicken balls.
