Crispy, juicy air fryer chicken nuggets - homemade with seasoned crumbs, perfectly cooked to tender perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloins, cut into nugget size
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Combine the buttermilk and chicken in a large bowl, allowing them to marinate while you get the seasoned flour ready.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, Parmesan cheese, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Spread bread crumbs onto a flat plate.
  • Coat each chicken nugget in flour, dip in beaten egg, and then cover with bread crumbs for a crispy finish.
  • Preheat the air fryer until it reaches a perfect 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease the basket generously with cooking spray, then fill it with as many nuggets as possible without overcrowding. Finally, give the tops of the nuggets a light mist of cooking spray.
  • Cook the chicken nuggets for 10 minutes, flip them over, and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from the heat and repeat with the remaining nuggets.
