Crispy air fryer honey garlic chicken wings are a delicious blend of juicy wings coated in sticky-sweet honey garlic sauce and a hint of cayenne heat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to a piping hot 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl, creating a flavorful seasoning blend.
  • Dry the chicken wings with paper towels and coat them evenly in the spice mixture. Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry the wings until they are crispy and golden brown, the juices run clear, and the meat is no longer pink at the bone, for 20 to 25 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature near the bone reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create a flavorful honey garlic sauce.
  • In a small bowl, stir together cornstarch and water until smooth, then pour into the saucepan. Simmer until sauce thickens, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, place the wings and generously drizzle them with the irresistible honey garlic sauce. Toss everything together until the wings are perfectly coated. Sprinkle with fresh chopped green onions and serve hot to enjoy every delicious bite.
