Revamp mashed potatoes into crispy, cheesy cakes using an air fryer.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cold mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 0.25 cup real bacon bits
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 small egg, beaten
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, blend together mashed potatoes, sharp Cheddar cheese, fresh green onions, crispy bacon bits, and flour until well mixed. Add beaten egg and incorporate thoroughly.
  • Preheat your air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.
  • Shape the mixture into 6 delicious patties, then place them on a baking sheet. Chill the sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes as you preheat the air fryer.
  • Arrange the patties in the air fryer basket in batches, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook without disturbing for 12 minutes. Repeat with the remaining patties.
