Effortlessly cook juicy New York strip steaks to perfection in the air fryer for a delicious meal without the hassle of grilling or broiling.
Ingredients:
  • 3 New York strip steaks, about 1 1/4-inch thick
  • 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite seasoned salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning, or other seasoning of choice
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, optional, to taste
Instructions:
  • Let the steaks sit out at room temperature 30 minutes before cooking. Pat them dry with paper towels and generously season both sides with seasoning salt and Montreal Steak Seasoning.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Once the air fryer is heated, generously coat both sides of the steaks with olive oil cooking spray.
  • Cook the steaks in the air fryer for approximately 10 minutes to achieve a medium rare cook, remembering to turn them halfway through the cooking process.
  • Verify the meat's temperature in the air fryer before removing. Aim for a medium-rare result by ensuring an instant-read thermometer reads 130 degrees F (54 degrees C) when inserted into the center. Cover loosely with foil for about 10 minutes before serving warm.
