Indulge in decadent Nutella® and crunchy hazelnut filled air-fried turnovers, topped with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
  • 3 tablespoons chopped hazelnuts, toasted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a 9x12-inch rectangle. Cut into twelve 3-inch squares. Spoon 1 teaspoon of chocolate-hazelnut spread onto the center of each square and sprinkle with hazelnuts. Fold each square in half diagonally to create triangles.
  • In a small bowl, combine the egg and water, whisk until smooth. Use the egg wash to brush over the edges of each pastry triangle, then press to seal them.
  • Place turnovers in the fryer basket in a single layer and fry until golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes per batch. Allow turnovers to cool on a rack.
