Crispy air-fried potato wedges seasoned like patatas bravas - golden edges, fluffy centers.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds russet potatoes, unpeeled
  • cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Cut potatoes into 8 equal wedges, ensuring each piece is under 5 inches to maintain their shape.
  • Soak potato wedges in a bowl of hot tap water for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse, and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and lightly coat the basket with cooking oil spray.
  • In a large bowl, generously coat potatoes with oil. Mix chili powder, cumin, paprika, coriander, garlic powder, and cinnamon, then sprinkle over potatoes; toss to coat evenly. Place potatoes in the air fryer basket without crowding, cook in batches if needed.
  • Place the wedges in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes until golden brown. Flip using tongs and continue cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes until crispy. Season with salt and serve hot.
