Air fryer egg-in-a-hole made with a buttery toaster waffle for a delicious and easy twist on a classic.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large egg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to a perfect 350°F (175°C).
  • Using a cup or glass with a diameter of 2 to 3 inches, create a hole in the center of the frozen waffle. Transfer the waffle to a piece of parchment paper, then place it, along with the small center waffle, into the preheated air fryer.
  • Gently crack one egg into the center of the waffle hole, then season it with salt and pepper to your liking. Close the lid and cook until the egg white begins to set, approximately 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Remove the small center waffle from the air fryer, sprinkle shredded cheese onto the egg waffle, and cook until the cheese is melted and the egg white is completely set, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Place the egg waffle on a plate, generously drizzle with maple syrup, and serve right away.
