Delicious almond gelatin that sets beautifully when chilled. Serve in squares with fresh fruit on top.
Ingredients:
  • 5 (.25 ounce) envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 2.25 cups boiling water
  • 4 teaspoons almond extract
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1.3333333730698 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1 cup seedless grapes
  • 1 cup cubed cantaloupe
Instructions:
  • Begin by softening gelatin in 1 cup of cold water. Then, combine with 2 1/4 cups of boiling water and sugar, stirring until completely dissolved. Finish by adding 3 cups of cold water and almond extract, mixing thoroughly.
  • Transfer the gelatin mixture into a 9x13 inch pan and chill for a minimum of 4 hours. Cut into 1 inch squares and enjoy in a bowl with fresh cut fruits.
