American-style bbq ribs

Indulge in these irresistible sticky golden ribs!
Ingredients:
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 brown onion, chopped
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) tomato sauce
  • 44.40 gm tomato paste
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) honey
  • 23.40 gm Dijon mustard
  • 10.00 gm paprika
  • 10.00 gm ground cumin
  • 36.80 gm Rice Bran Oil
  • 1kg beef ribs
  • 250ml (1 cup) water
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, blend garlic, onion, tomato sauce, tomato paste, honey, mustard, paprika, cumin, and oil until a coarse paste forms. Season the mixture. Transfer it to a ceramic dish, add the ribs, and toss to coat evenly. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour to marinate.
  • Preheat the oven to 200C. Prepare a baking tray with foil and baking paper. Arrange the ribs on the tray and generously coat with the marinade and water. Roast for about 1 hour or until the ribs are tender and fully cooked, turning them halfway through.
  • Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the ribs on a wire rack over a large baking tray and grill for 3 minutes on each side until they are a dark golden color and sticky.
