Mediterranean garlic bread for a simple yet impressive feast with friends.
Ingredients:
  • 125g butter, at room temperature
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 45g can anchovies, drained, finely chopped, mashed
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh continental parsley
  • 340g French bread stick (baguette), halved crossways
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix butter, garlic, anchovy, and parsley in a small bowl until evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper for added flavor.
  • Slice the bread into 2cm-thick slices without cutting through completely. Spread the butter mixture on the sliced sides of the bread and then wrap each piece in foil.
  • Arrange the bread slices on a baking tray and bake until perfectly crisp and golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.
