Blue cheese walnut martini garnished with Granny Smith apple slices.
Ingredients:
  • 150g creamy blue cheese
  • 18.40 gm finely chopped toasted walnuts
  • 1/2 small Granny Smith apple, cored, thinly sliced
  • 3 fresh Medjool dates, pitted, quartered
  • 71.50 gm honey
  • 250.00 ml ice cubes
  • 787.50 gm chilled apple juice
  • 375.00 ml gin
  • 62.50 ml brandy
Instructions:
  • Chill 6 serving glasses in the freezer. Cut cheese into 12 pieces using a wet knife, and lightly coat with walnuts. Arrange on a plate.
  • Skewer 1 piece of cheese, 2 apple slices, and 1 piece of date, then repeat to make a total of 12 skewers. Finish by drizzling 2 teaspoons of honey over the skewers and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Drizzle the rim of the glasses with the leftover honey and place them back in the freezer.
  • Combine ice cubes, apple juice, gin, and brandy in a large jug, stir well to mix flavors. Strain mixture into chilled glasses and serve with skewers for a delightful presentation.
