Apple and cinnamon slow cooker oats recipe

Nourishing apple cinnamon overnight oats for a week of hearty breakfasts.
Ingredients:
  • 135g rolled oats
  • 1 large apple, cored, finely chopped
  • 5.00 gm ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 500ml milk
  • 60ml maple syrup
  • Vanilla yoghurt, to serve
  • Thinly sliced apple, to serve
  • Chopped pistachios, to serve
  • Raspberries, to serve
  • Maple syrup, extra, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slow cooker by greasing it. Add oats, chopped apple, cinnamon, vanilla, milk, maple syrup, and 4 cups (1L) water into the slow cooker. Mix everything together.
  • Cook the oat mixture covered on low heat for 6-7 hours or until it thickens to perfection.
  • Spoon the oat mixture into individual bowls. Add a dollop of yogurt, sliced apple, pistachios, and raspberries on top. Finish by drizzling with extra maple syrup before serving.
