Apple-infused quick bread featuring dehydrated apple and applesauce for maximum flavor and texture.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped dried apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Next, generously grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine sifted flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Cream butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in applesauce and cinnamon. Fold in flour mixture and dried apples until just combined. Spread batter into pan and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar topping.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
