Moist apple cake with sweet apple chunks and applesauce, a perfect fall dessert served warm or cold.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups diced apple without peel
Instructions:
  • Prepare for baking by collecting all your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend butter, applesauce, and eggs until frothy.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until mixed well. Gently fold in apples.
  • Transfer the delicious batter into the pan that has been greased and lined.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, about 25 to 30 minutes. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
