Irresistible apple cheesecake with a crunchy graham cracker crust, a must-try twist on classic fall desserts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups apples - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the crust by thoroughly combining graham cracker crumbs, pecans, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Press the mixture into the base of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then leave the oven on after removing the dish.
  • Prepare the filling by blending cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl using an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract and pour the filling into the pre-baked crust.
  • Prepare the topping by placing the apples in a bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Drizzle over apples and mix well to coat. Spread sugary apples over the filling and sprinkle pecans on top.
  • Bake until edges are puffed, about 60-70 minutes. Use a knife to loosen the edges, cool on a wire rack for about 1 hour at room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, 4 hours to overnight.
