Easy apple crisp with cinnamon-spiced apples and crunchy oat topping. Perfect warm fall dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 10 cups all-purpose apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Prepare all necessary components.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Layer sliced apples in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine white sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, and cinnamon, then sprinkle over apples. Evenly drizzle water over the apples.
  • In a large bowl, mix together oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Drizzle in melted butter and use a fork to blend until crumbly. Evenly sprinkle this mixture over the apples.
  • Bake until the top is a beautiful golden brown and the apples are bubbling at the edges, approximately 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
