Apple-filled biscuits drizzled in buttery vanilla-cinnamon sauce, then baked to golden perfection and served piping hot.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
  • 4 apples - peeled, cored and halved
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  • Grease a 7x11 inch baking pan with butter. Divide biscuit dough into 8 pieces and shape each into a circle. Wrap each apple half with a biscuit, placing them seam side down in the pan.
  • Combine sugar, water, melted butter, and vanilla in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the dumplings in the pan, sprinkle with cinnamon, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden. Serve hot.
