French-style apple tart: Flaky pastry layers with sliced sweet apples.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (25 x 25cm) puff pastry sheet
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 40.00 gm melted butter
  • Honey, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • Using a cookie cutter, carefully cut four 12cm circles from the puff pastry. Arrange the circles on a lightly buttered baking tray.
  • Arrange the apples in an overlapping pattern on the pastry. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar for a delectable finish.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is beautifully golden and crisp. Serve with a delightful drizzle of honey.
