Apple salad with sticky pork chops recipe

Indulge in tender pork chops with sticky plum and apple sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 Pork Cutlets
  • 60ml plum sauce
  • 20.80 gm chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice
  • 31.50 gm soy sauce
  • 42.90 gm honey
  • 2 apples, very thinly sliced
  • 2 celery sticks, peeled into ribbons
  • 60g pkt Baby Rocket
  • 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 6.00 gm sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions:
  • Combine the pork, plum sauce, chili sauce, Chinese five spice, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of honey in a large bowl, tossing to mix well.
  • Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat. Sear the pork for 2-3 mins on each side until beautifully golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate, cover with foil, and let it rest for 5 mins.
  • In a large bowl, toss together the apple, celery, and rocket. In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, oil, remaining soy sauce, and remaining honey. Drizzle the dressing over the apple mixture and gently mix to combine.
  • Plate the apple mixture and pork separately. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the pork.
