Indulge in this irresistible apple streusel pie. The mouthwatering aroma of apples and cinnamon baking will have you craving more than just one slice.
Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces butter
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 9 apple - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 recipes unbaked pie shells
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 C).
  • Combine the butter, brown sugar, flour, and chopped pecans to make the topping. Use a pastry cutter to mix until pea-sized pieces form. Set aside.
  • Gently mix together the apples, sugar, flour, and cinnamon, then set aside.
  • Fill the unbaked pie shells with the apple mixture, piling the apples high and filling them to the top. Sprinkle the topping over each pie.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50 minutes until topping is golden brown.
