Effortlessly create a tender and soft one-crust pie dough using Bisquick® mix, no rolling pin needed!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. In a medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups Bisquick mix and 1/4 cup softened butter using a fork until crumbly. Pour boiling water and stir vigorously with the fork until dough forms. Shape the dough into a ball and press it firmly and evenly into an ungreased 9-inch glass pie plate, fluting the edge.
  • Evenly spread the filling into the crust using a spoon.
  • Combine 1 cup Bisquick mix and brown sugar in a bowl. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the streusel over the filling.
  • Bake the pie uncovered for 15 minutes, then cover the top with foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
