Make a quick and tender one-crust pie using Bisquick® mix - no rolling pin needed! Enjoy the trendy blend of bourbon and apples for a delicious boozy dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons bourbon
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. In a medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of Bisquick mix and 1/4 cup of softened butter using a fork until crumbly. Pour in boiling water and mix vigorously until dough forms. Shape the dough into a ball and press it evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch ungreased glass pie plate, then flute the edges.
  • Combine Filling ingredients in a medium bowl and evenly spread mixture into the crust.
  • Combine 1 cup Bisquick mix and brown sugar in a small bowl. Add cold butter and cut it in until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the streusel over the filling.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Then cover the top of the pie with foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
  • Combine the Bourbon Drizzle ingredients in a small bowl until smooth, then generously drizzle over the cooled pie to add a delicious finishing touch (avoid drizzling over hot or very warm pie to prevent melting into the streusel topping).
