Slow cooker apple tapioca dessert: Sweet apples cooked in brown sugar for a comforting treat.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups apples - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons small pearl tapioca
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 0.5 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Combine the apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and tapioca in a bowl, gently mix until the apples are coated.
  • Transfer the apple mixture into a slow cooker and generously coat with freshly squeezed lemon juice and boiling water.
  • Cook the apples on High heat until they are soft and thickened, which should take 3 to 4 hours.
  • Stir in raisins for a burst of sweetness, then enjoy while warm.
