Irresistible apple and raisin cake - easy to make, perfect for any occasion. Pair with vanilla ice cream for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1.3333333730698 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 4 cups chopped, peeled apple
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and generously grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Combine sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Create a well in the center and add oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Gently incorporate the raisins and apples. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours until the dish is firm and has a beautiful light brown color.
