Apple-Cherry Crisp

Apple-cherry dessert with crispy granola topping.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large cooking apples (such as Braeburn, Cortland or Granny Smith), peeled, thinly sliced (about 6 cups)
  • 1 bag (10 oz) Cascadian Farm™ organic frozen sweet cherries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Cascadian Farm™ organic oats & honey granola
  • Vanilla yogurt, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease an 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Combine apples, cherries, sugar, and flour in a large bowl until well mixed. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish and cover with foil.
  • - Bake for 40 minutes, then gently stir. - Sprinkle with granola and lightly press it down. - Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. - Allow it to rest for 15 minutes before serving with yogurt.
